![]() I just want pics to not rotate when attaching them to messages.ģ) There doesn't appear to be any way any more to open the contact profile of the person that you are conversing with, or to add the number to contacts. In the hope it might help anyone, I have an lg-d415, which captures pics at 2560x1920(4:3), screen resolution is 939x539(?:? ratio). It apparently happens unpredictably, whatever the source of the pics, be it my phone's camera, screenshots of my phone, pics downloaded from the Internet of random resolutions, and pics and screenshots from my tablet, which has diff screen res but same camera res compared to my phone. This apparently happens only in YAATA, not stock app or any other msg app I've tried, and I've tried a few, though not exhaustively. Only pattern here I can identify is that the photos are mostly rotated counter-clockwise 90°, next most often 180°, next most 0° rotation, and almost never 90° clockwise. Maybe this has something to do with an image compression process your app uses, but it's definitely wild and ANNOYING to me, my friends, and my colleagues, especially my boss. I want to be allowed to prevent this cluttering of my notification area.Ģ) When attaching images to a message, frequently the image will be rotated, not in the same orientation as it was taken our as it appears in any other image display app. ![]() It being on by default is fine with me, but since I don't send very many texts, and I never use this method of composing anyway, I find it to be an incessant annoyance. However, some things irk me substantially.ġ) Some time ago, a permanent notification was added, so one can begin to compose from the notification area, but there doesn't seem to be any way to remove this. In the past, I've had issues with MMS failing to send and display properly(on t-mo), but sending issues have been fixed. I love YAATA, I first installed it when it was in about ALPHA 02 version, and I've used it as my primary daily driver sms app since then, and exclusively since one of the late alpha versions, and I've donated as much as I could.
